General description
The ZIP HOPMASTER is designed for the use in a fermentation cellar and can be connected to the fermentation vessels after the primary fermentation or to BBTs after the beer is filtered. The main purpose of the ZIP HOPMASTER is to dissolve in the wort the aroma compounds, known as essential oils, leaving the bitterness units unchanged. The equipment design offers an enlarged contact area between the raw materials and the hot wort flow, both hop flowers and pellets can be utilized. Thanks to the use of the built-in magnetic mixer, the essential oil extraction rate is maximized and the extraction times is reduced. The operation principle of the equipment ensures reduced oxygen uptake, minimizing its damaging effects. Due to the filter basket, only small amounts of fiber will enter the beer. The beer flow between the fermentation vessel and the ZIP HOPMASTER is created by means of overpressure. The equipment is easily cleaned and CIP-ed with built-in multiple cleaning heads.
The ZIP HOPMATIC is designed for dry hopping smaller amounts of beer with hops just as much as with other flavorings the brew master is courageous to probe.
